Spencer's Pre-school Graduation

Spencer graduated from pre-school on Tues. May 27. He was very excited, not so much because he was graduating but because he was so glad school was done! How does that happen? The kid goes to school 2 days a week, 4 hours a day, and it's pre-k! How will he ever make it through kindergarten 5 days a week, 6 hours a day?? Sometimes I worry about that boy. Although, he does seem excited about kindergarten so we'll just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! Anyway, the ceremony was short and sweet. Just the way we like things. The day before, he says to me, "Mom, aren't you going to get me a present for my graduation?" How well trained is this child, or should I say how spoiled? The funny thing is, I had actually considered this notion and decided against it! Do my kids know me or what? Anyway, his teachers got a little choked up when they said their good-byes to Spencer and Trey, which in turn made me choke up a little too. I am an emotional person as it is and I always get a little sad when a chapter of our lives comes to an end. Not that I don't look forward to the next one, but just knowing that we will never be in that place again is a little sad. He's our last child and is done with pre-school and getting ready for kindergarten. I just can't believe how fast it all goes by!
